Self described as “post-national, apocalypse-adjacent, lo-tech love songs for the digital native”, kumo 99 takes over Fortune Sound on October 19.

kumo 99 is a duo consisting of vocalist Ami Komai and production wiz Nate Donmoyer who you probably know for his large list of production credits (including Gesaffelstein, Father, Blu DeTiger and more) as well as Passion Pit’s drummer (2008-2013). They mix hardcore-adjacent rave beats with Japanese lyrics, offering something you’ve never heard before.
