With summer days getting shorter and festival season winding down, the city’s club calendar is just getting warmed up.
From Afro Tech to pop-punk nostalgia, left-field electronic music and everything in between, Fortune Sound Club has a stacked run of shows coming through the fall and into early winter.
Here are eight shows to have on your radar this fall:
MoBlack — September 19

MoBlack has been shaping the sound and developing what is today called Afro Tech/Melodic House & Techno.
A sought-after mood setter, who brings unparalleled energy to any venue, from intimate club settings to festivals all over the globe, MoBlack takes over Fortune Sound with local support from Sejo B2B Perspectiv on Saturday, September 19th.
Baby J — June 25
Jersey Club • Baile Funk • Hip-Hop • House • Jungle
If your algorithm has ever served you a DJ set that somehow jumps from Jersey Club to baile funk to hip-hop edits to jungle, there’s a good chance you’ve encountered Baby J.
Indo-Australian artist Baby J brings the Venus Tour to Fortune Sound on Sept 25th, following her breakout, sold out North American debut earlier this year. Plus, join us in celebrating 17 years of Happy Ending Fridays at Fortune Sound.
Toro y Moi — September 26

Chaz Bear, better known as Toro y Moi, has spent nearly two decades refusing to stay in one lane.
From the chillwave scene to indie, hip-hop, electronic music and beyond, his catalogue has constantly evolved, making a Toro y Moi DJ set a particularly intriguing proposition. Catch him behind the decks at Fortune on Saturday, September 26.
Cult Member — September 27
Ambient • Trance • Techno
Cult Member is the project of Montreal-based artist Liam Hayden, whose DJ and live sets explore the intersections of ambient, trance, and techno.
With a focus on texture, rhythm, and atmosphere, his performances flow fluidly between genres while maintaining a steady pulse for the dancefloor. Catch him on September 27th at Fortune Sound.
Loukeman — October 9

Toronto-based producer, DJ and songwriter Loukeman has a knack for taking familiar sounds and warping them into something entirely his own.
His music pulls from folk, pop, rap and R&B, creating a sound that feels both recognizable and difficult to categorize. With his next album on the horizon, his Fortune appearance is a chance to catch an artist in the middle of an evolving chapter.

DJ Habibeats — October 23

A powerhouse in the global dance music scene, DJ Habibeats is taking over Fortune Sound on Friday, October 23rd.
Known for his viral event, “Habibi’s House”, Habibeats delivers a one-of-a-kind sound, fusing percussion-heavy genres like Amapiano, Baile Funk, and Jersey Club with the rich cultural influences of the Middle East, Africa, Brazil, and Latin America, garnering listeners worldwide.
Faber Drive — October 24
Pop-Punk • 2000s Nostalgia
Juno-nominated Canadian pop-punk staples Faber Drive are bringing their high-energy live show back to Vancouver on Saturday, October 24. The band broke out with their 2007 debut Seven Second Surgery, scoring multiple Top 10 hits including “When I’m With You” and “Tongue Tied.”
Now they’re back with a new four-song EP that leans into their punk roots, making this one for longtime fans and anyone who thinks the 2000s were peak pop-punk.
Tommy Fleece — December 1
Electroclash • Synths • Indie Sleaze
Detroit-born artist Tommy Fleece is bringing a distinctly chaotic, playful energy to Fortune on Tuesday, December 1.
His sound draws from indie sleaze, punk, jazz and electronic music, with synth-heavy production and a mischievous attitude that feels tailor-made for the current electroclash revival.
