Faber Drive is back and going full throttle at Fortune Sound
Juno-nominated pop-punk band Faber Drive are hitting the road this fall to celebrate an unconventional milestone: 19¼ years of their breakout debut album, Seven Second Surgery.
The anniversary tour will bring the band’s high-energy catalogue back to stages across the country, including a highly anticipated stop in Vancouver at Fortune Sound Club on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Originally released in 2007, Seven Second Surgery helped define a generation of Canadian pop-punk, delivering infectious hooks, emotionally charged lyrics, and radio staples that quickly cemented Faber Drive as a household name. Nearly two decades later, the record continues to resonate with longtime fans and a new wave of listeners rediscovering the era.
Rather than waiting for a traditional anniversary, the band is embracing the spirit of spontaneity with a 19¼-year celebration, a nod to their playful roots and enduring connection with fans. The tour promises a front-to-back performance of Seven Second Surgery alongside fan favourites and deep cuts from across their discography.
Vancouver holds a special place in the band’s history, making the venue a stage for a night that blends nostalgia with the raw energy of a live Faber Drive show.
With a legacy rooted in heartfelt songwriting and undeniable pop-punk energy, Faber Drive’s return to the stage is more than a celebration; it’s a reminder of the album that shaped a scene and the fans who grew up with it.
